The Buffalo Grass Acoustic Society (BGAS) is a non-profit organization which supports anyone who wishes to be involved in traditional forms (roots) of Americana music. The music includes folk, bluegrass, cowboy, western, traditional country, jazz and many other forms.

We are a membership supported organization. Our jams and concerts are open to the public. You are welcome whether you come to play in a jam or enjoy a concert. There are also many fun things to do when you help within the society as a booking agent, ticket seller, sound man or many other volunteer positions.

Our Concerts
Our concerts provide a live music venue for singers and songwriters from all over the Pikes Peak region and eastern plains of Colorado as well as itinerant performers. Performers are booked either by invitation or by their requesting a booking. All have performed before and are vetted to assure a good experience for our audiences.

Our  Jams
Would you like to play with others for fun or to improve your skills? The society provides acoustic jams. Anyone of any age and skill may sit in. Bring any acoustic instrument, whether it be a guitar or a dulcimer, fiddle, mandolin .. you name it .. they are welcome.
We also make exceptions for a handful of non‑acoustic instruments that work well with the above instruments. Examples are harmonica and accordion.
Grinners (people who watch) are always welcome and may sing along if so inclined.

Dates & Times
Concerts and Jams are held on the third Friday of each month. Exceptions are June‑August and December. Doors open at 6:30. Tickets at the door from 6:30 to 8pm. Shows start at 7 pm with two opening acts. The Featured artist performs at 8pm.
